Effective date: 11 June 2026. This Privacy Policy explains how Arun Kubasad ("I", "me", "my") handles information collected through arunkubasad.com (the "Site"). I collect only what I need to respond to you and run this Site, and I never sell your personal data.
1. Who I am
Arun Kubasad, an independent product design consultant based in Bengaluru, India. For any privacy questions or requests, email arun@arunkubasad.com.
2. What I collect
Information you give me: when you use the contact form or email me, I collect your name, email address, and anything you write in your message. Booking: if you book a call, scheduling is handled by Cal.com, which collects your name, email, and meeting details under its own policy. Automatically: my host (Framer) and any analytics tool may collect basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, device, and pages visited, to keep the Site secure and understand traffic.
3. Why I use it
To respond to your enquiries, schedule and prepare for calls, operate and secure the Site, understand how it is used, and meet legal obligations. I do not sell your personal data, ever.
4. Legal bases (EU/UK visitors)
I process data based on your consent (for example, contacting me), my legitimate interests (running and securing the Site and replying to you), and legal obligations where they apply.
5. Who I share it with
Only the service providers that make this Site work - currently Framer (hosting), Cal.com (scheduling), and my analytics provider - and only as needed. I may disclose data if required by law.
6. Cookies
The Site may use essential cookies for core functionality and analytics cookies to understand usage. You can control or block cookies through your browser settings.
7. International transfers
My service providers may process data outside your country, including in the EU, US, or India. Where required, such transfers rely on appropriate safeguards.

I keep enquiries and email correspondence only as long as needed to respond and for reasonable follow-up, then delete them. Analytics data is retained per the provider's standard period.

You can request to access, correct, delete, or export your data, or object to or restrict its processing. EU/UK visitors have rights under GDPR, and California residents have rights under the CCPA. To exercise any of these, email arun@arunkubasad.com and I'll respond within a reasonable time.

I take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
11. Children
This Site is not directed to anyone under 16, and I do not knowingly collect their personal data.
