Built the brand and the product. From zero to investor-ready in 8 weeks
Client
Mainteny
Mainteny is an all-in-one SaaS platform for maintenance businesses — job scheduling, timesheets, invoicing, inventory, and mobile ops in one place. They needed a design lead who could build the visual identity and the product simultaneously. I did both.
Scope of Work

The Situation
Strong product. Zero credibility. Mainteny had real depth — scheduling, invoicing, inventory, contracts — but looked like an MVP. In a market where SMBs buy on trust before features, that gap was the biggest threat to adoption and fundraising.
What I owned
Full ownership across two tracks, running in parallel - one shared design language from day one.
Brand Identity Logo, color system, typography, and brand guidelines. Designed to work across web, mobile, and investor decks without adaptation.
Product Design End-to-end UX and UI for field technicians. IA, flows, components, and visual design - all delivered as a production-ready system.
THE JUDGMENT CALL
Early-stage startups often treat brand and product as sequential - brand first, then build.
I ran them in parallel with a shared design language from day one. Every component built for the product reinforced the brand.
Every brand decision was pressure-tested against actual UI needs. The result: zero rework between brand rollout and product delivery.
